Hopi Ear Candling
A relaxing treatment designed to help alleviate pressure buildup in one or both ears and the sinuses.
This soothing therapy uses a special candle placed in the ear to gently create a vacuum effect, which can help clear blockages, relieve discomfort, and promote a sense of well-being. Ideal for those suffering from ear congestion, sinus pressure, or simply looking for a calming and restorative experience.

What is a Ear Candling
A Hopi ear candle is not a typical wax candle; it’s a specially designed cotton tube infused with beeswax, honey, and therapeutic oils. During the treatment, the candle is gently inserted into the ear. The heat from the candle creates a gentle vacuum effect, which helps to relieve pressure in the head and sinuses, while also drawing out impurities from the ear. This relaxing therapy is often used to alleviate ear congestion, sinus pressure, and promote overall well-being.
Benefits of Ear Candling
Hopi ear candles are designed to help relieve various conditions affecting the head and ears, such as sinus congestion, ear noises, and excessive earwax. The rising air through the column of the candle, along with the gentle movement of the flame, creates a soothing massage effect on the eardrum. This process helps to regulate ear pressure and offers an immediate, calming sensation in the ear and head area.
Conditions that may benefit from Hopi Ear Candling include:

What to Expect
What to Expect During Your Hopi Ear Candling Treatment:
1. Consultation: We’ll start with a brief chat to ask a few questions, ensuring the treatment is appropriate for you and that there are no reasons it shouldn’t be carried out.
2. Preparation:
- You’ll be asked to remove earrings and hearing aids, if applicable.
- Then, you will lie on your side. A sheet or blanket will be placed over you to keep you warm, and the couch can also be heated if needed.
3. Ear Protection & Candle Insertion: A towel will be placed around your ear for protection, and the candle will be carefully inserted. Once you're comfortable, the candle will be removed to be lit and then returned to your ear.
4. Candle Burning: The candle will burn down, and once it reaches the end mark, it will be extinguished and gently removed from your ear.
5. Other Ear: You will then be asked to turn over, and the process will be repeated for the other ear.
6. Relaxing Finish: After both ears have been treated, you’ll lie on your back and be treated to a soothing face and scalp massage to complete the treatment.
This calming process is designed to help you relax while providing relief for pressure and congestion in the ears and sinuses.
